WriteFest 2009 is a rapidly becoming a distant but not so dim memory.
In brief I think we can say Stephanie Laurens was spot on with advice about publishing in the US, Kirsty Brooks took us up close and personal to cross genre fiction, Mark Svendsen reminded us what it was like to be kids (and that we should work that connection if we're writing for youngsters), Peter Matheson grabbed hold of story and held it up to the spotlight and Sue Abbey... well, if you wanted to edit yourself towards being more publishable then she had the skills you needed.
The Forum has already started to charge up with thoughts, feeling suggestions. Feel free to add to it all you lurkers out there.
