Are You Ready For the Next Step?

At Bundaberg's WriteFest 2010, Commissioning Editors, Jo Butler (Literary Fiction) and Anna Valdinger (Commercial Fiction) from Harper Collins Publishers Australia (Literary Fiction) will be conducting editor/writer interviews.
Harper Collins Publishers Australia are no longer accepting unsolicited manuscripts. This is one opportunity you cannot afford to miss if you want to place your completed manuscript before a commissioning editor.
WriteFest has been scheduled for Saturday, May 15. Only attendees have the opportunity to discuss their submission with either Jo or Anna.
Reading and assessing submissions will take the editors some time, so we would appreciate writers submitting as early as possible.
Submissions close Monday, March 22.

WRITEFEST 2010 will be back on Saturday, May 15.
Doors open for registration and payment 8.30am for 9am start at CQUniversity, Building 5, University Drive (off Childers Road), Bundaberg.
The day will cost $65 (including lunch and morning and afternoon teas) for adults, $35 for students 15 and under
Masterclasses will be held on Saturday and Sunday, allowing the dedicated writer two days of information gathering and networking. Masterclass costs: - $90 (Saturday only), $140 (combining Saturday WriteFest and Sunday Masterclass)
Writers who have, or are currently working on a manuscript or who have written a body of short stories may apply to attend the Masterclass. See Bringing Your Characters to Life (below) for more information.
