Vale Col Shiels
A Funeral Service for long time member, Col Shiels, was held on Friday, February 7.
Col and his wife Bette were founding members of the Bundaberg Writers' Club, both serving terms as President. It's been some little time now since they left the club on other voyages of discovery, but they have both remained active in the writing field.
Col's passing has come as a surprise. He was an energetic and imaginative man who could build a home with as much skill as he could build a yarn. His roguish grin will be much missed.
 The Regional Arts Development Fund is a Queensland Government and Bundaberg City Council partnership to support local arts and culture. It has graciously provided funding towards the costs of this website. |
