WriteFest 2013

Here is some wonderful feedback from this years’ event…

“On behalf of Jackson and myself may we congratulate you and your committee on a great writer’s conference. I came away from the session with Sulari Gentill – Finding Stories, ready to keep writing. Also the other workshop, What Does Digital Publishing Mean To Writers, was extraordinary and gave me confidence I am on the right track with my writing and publishing. I’ve sent an email to Aimee (Lindorff) to thank her for her presenting.”
Pat Ritter

“Many thanks again for a really useful weekend. You folk impress the hell out of me.”

“I found a thriving and strong group of writers at the festival. The line up of speakers and workshops was excellent, as was the venue, and certainly the range of topics was terrific. I attended the Masterclass on Sunday as you know, and that was also terrific; a more intimate experience sharing our writing and our work, as was to be expected, and certainly a lot to be learnt on the day. And of course, the opportunity to meet with a publisher is such a fantastic opening you provide, and to have had Jo (Butler) in this instance come up from Sydney – it just shows how dedicated the industry is to the Bundaberg cohort of writers and visiting counterparts.”
